As consumers we produce a lot of carbon during our stay on this planet both in our everyday living and in the manufacturing of the goods we use. In fact nowadays it’s hard to find anything we do as a species that doesn’t have an impact on the environment. Wherever we go we leave behind a trail of Non Bio Degradable refuse and Pollutants, which sadly do not go away. Instead they pollute the Water we drink, the Air we breathe and the Earth on which we walk. To an outsider it would appear that we are hell bent on destroying the very things we need to survive.

In recent times people have become more aware of the impact they are having on their surroundings. Even turning off a light bulb reduces their carbon footprint. Thanks to groups such as Earth hour, Globally, millions of like minded people switch off their lights for one Hour each year and the numbers of participating cities are increasing.

Thankfully more and more businesses are becoming aware of their impact on their environment and are not only making changes to reduce their carbon footprint but also giving people environmental choices in the way we live our lives.
